Prepare for Typhoon Domeng


Typhoon Domeng is expected to hit Surigao this coming Thursday (April 10, 2013).  Though there are some reports that it slowed down, it is still better to take precautions especially against the possibility of storm surges hitting the coastal areas.

Day-asan Village, Surigao on Pinoy Adventures



Richard discovers a different adventure in the floating village of Day-asan where houses on stilts line waterlogged streets. He also tries to navigate a bandung, a small boat made with one whole block of solid hardwood. He caps the trip with a trip to the lobster farm where he gets a sumptuous taste of Surigaonon flavor.
